Open Door Initiatives is a charitable organization in Houston, Texas. Our charity seeks to help children around the world and their families receive the proper education and medical support they need. Our organization was founded through the efforts of Pageant Queen Paris Ndu. (Miss Texas Jr Preteen)
Our Story
Once upon a time, in a world filled with dreams and aspirations, a young girl named Paris Ndu was born in Houston, Texas. Paris was not an ordinary child; she possessed a radiant smile, a captivating personality, and a heart filled with compassion. From a tender age, Paris’s passion for fashion, style, and charity work ignited a spark within her to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
As Paris grew older, she began participating in pageant competitions, winning prestigious titles that showcased her talent and charisma. But beyond the glitz and glamour, Paris knew she had a higher calling—a calling to help those in need, especially children who lacked access to proper education and medical care.
Driven by her dreams and empowered by her loving mother, Eunice, Paris embarked on a remarkable journey. At the age of 6, she founded her very own clothing store ,hair and beauty store. With the guidance of her mother, Young Mogul Speakers Academy, her dedicated team, and the unwavering support of her family, Paris’s businesses thrived, setting the stage for her next grand endeavor.
Fueled by her desire to give back, Paris hatched an ambitious plan. With the money from her cherished piggy bank, she founded her nonprofit Open Door Initiatives. The mission was simple yet profound—to ensure that children all over the world receive the education and medical support they deserve. Paris’s journey of philanthropy began, and her heart overflowed with kindness and determination to bring change to young lives.
The path was not without challenges, but Paris’s tenacity and unyielding spirit led her to success. Through her nonprofit, she paid school fees and provides school supplies for underprivileged children in Africa providing them with the opportunity to learn and grow. She also dedicated her efforts to support sick children in Nigeria, offering essential medical aid and hope for a brighter future.
Paris’s dreams extended beyond the borders of her homeland. As a certified public speaker and human rights advocate, she raised her voice to bring attention to the importance of education, equality, and human rights for children everywhere. Her advocacy transcended age, as she believed that children, like herself, could make a difference, no matter how young they may be.
As Paris shared her story with the world, she became an ambassador for literacy, joining the Read to Achieve Program and the International “Read To Me” program. Her passion for books knew no bounds, and she seeks to inspire children worldwide to embrace the wonders of reading and knowledge.
Open Door Initiatives blossomed, creating a path to a better future for countless children. With every step, Paris illuminated the way for young dreamers and reminded them that their aspirations had no bounds.
In her book titled “The Nine Year Old Activist,” she narrated her journey, the tale of how a young girl with a piggy bank and an abundance of heart transformed the lives of others. Through her story, she seeks to inspire others to believe in the power of their dreams and the impact they could have on the world.
As Open Door Initiatives thrived, it became a beacon of hope for children in need. The dream of a better world where education and health were not just dreams but possibilities began to take shape. Together with her team, she spread the message of empowerment and compassion, touching lives and igniting the fire of change in the hearts of others.
